While shopping yesterday at the hardware store. We are in need of a new faucet so we were pricing them. I saw some Grohe faucets and thought they are unique and different from the norm. The one we have is falling apart and loose. Then again the landlord needs to replace it. Speaking which, I need to call him on Monday to see about getting a paper signed. I have to make copies of my paperwork and turn in as well.
I am going to finish watching Gremlins, we got the movie for $3.98 yesterday and the kids are having a blast watching it. We realized that this movie is about 24 years old. Boy does that make me feel old...lol.

Came back and...
Started cleaning the desk of death. I know it may sound crazy. But I have this corner desk in the dining room that is piled high with papers, magazines and other collect all stuff. Everything manages to end up there. I wish I could find some area rugs for under my desk area. Or at least one in the laundry room because its so cold in the back room. My feet was at the point was so cold that I had to leave the room.
Well I am not getting anything done as we still have plastic to put up over some windows. Its looking like we may get some snow.

Haven't been here...
Cause its been that time of year again with all the sickies. My Son has been sick for a couple of weeks with this wicked cough then bronchitis but he hasn't missed any school yet. Knock on wood. But this week is a short week anyways, two full days and a half day on Wedsnesday. I still am keeping him strong and focused on not missing any school.

While out and about.
While we were at the drug store, looking around. I couldn't help notice all the diet pills on the market nowadays. I have been thinking about using the help of some type of diet pill to help me lose a few pounds. I may try Anoretix and see how that goes. Of course I am always nervous about putting anything into my body besides unhealthy food. Anyhow, there are so many to choose from and the decision is going to be tough because you want to find the safest one for your body. Because your body is the only one you will ever get in this lifetime.
Well, I am finishing up the laundry and heading to bed. I am beat.

I had a good day today.
I got to hang out with my Mom for a bit, went to a few stores and got a few items. And now I have a few busy couple days ahead. I am making some Christmas gifts to make and a Christmas wreath to make for my Mom. So yes, I will be busy...lol.

While at the store.
I was trying to not listen to the conversation of the ladies behind me in the line of the check out, but they were discussing the best diet pills on the market. It still scares me to put something in my body that I do not know the outcome. I remember a long time ago, I took something because I thought I was fat...boy what little did I know back then. I was so jittery and froggy it wasn't even funny.
I also worked at a movie theater and ate the popcorn diet. Believe it or not, I was at my skinniest while working there. I weighed 102lbs. I was proud....If I could weigh that much now...imagine how good I'd feel. But even if I weighed 150lbs, that would be better than where I am at now.

I am so excited.
If I can get my sales up, get a few people recruit and one of the perks of what I do, I can earn one of the Disney vacations down to Florida. Oh can you imagine the fun I would have? Also the time frame it is scheduled around my Son's 13th Birthday. Now that would be the best birthday present ever for him and would top any and all. I have one year to get those things accomplished. And frankly, its something I want. I would love to be able to enjoy some fun time at the House of Mouse. I grew up loving Disney, and I know the people that live around those places think I may be crazy, but I don't care. I just want to show my Son exactly how much I love him and what I would do for him.
Change of Pace.
Is what I need, big time. I need to change my ways and get my life on a better road because this road I am on, is bumpy and rough.

Thinking about when I was younger...
Back when I was younger, my Parents went to Las Vegas a couple of times. And each time they went I ended up with a ear infection. Something with them being on a plane and ears popping, I would end up sick. I hated it. I could never remember the las vegas hotels they stayed at, so I remember my Grandma having to take me to the doctor the first time they went.
SO now I have this fear of anyone going on a airplane, I end up with ear issues. Those babies hurt too, I tend to get both ear infections and sinus problems though at this time of year.
So have you started your Christmas shopping yet? I know change of subject but have you? I know we started, we got ONE person done...lol

Really bothers me...
But with having Obama as our President we should be proud to have someone at least step up and try to handle the most difficult job in the world. It takes a special person to do it. We should at least give him a chance to help change America.

I've been good.
I decided a while back to better myself health wise. I have been exercising and watching what I eat. Granted I don't do any ellipticals but I do alot of walking. Especially when it comes to my Son's Boy Scout stuff. The weekend we went camping, I purposely did alot of walking around the camp to check it out. ITS HUGE!!!! I also took pictures of the campground because for one, its not accessible for vehicles to the camp sites. They have little carts to carry stuff. I hate to say this but I noticed one thing. These families that attended brought sleeping mattresses, blow up mattresses and other items of comfort. For one its not teaching the little guys anything, when your on a Boy Scout Campout, it means roughing it. Which I did. I Slept on the ground in the cold weather. And I am mighty darn proud of myself. Its actually twice now that I've done that. Whoot!
Stupid weather.
It seems like every year around this time, I end up sick. I woke up yesterday not feeling the greatest. Ended up sick, but decided to lay low and rest. My Boyfriend said I slept for what seemed like hours. When it was actually about 3 hours. I was just tired, and didn't want to deal with the sickness. Ah well, I feel a bit better today.

One show down..
One more in less than hour. I love my Thursday Night shows.
Now, my Boyfriend will be getting up here in a little bit to go to his third shift job. His job as a material handling is something I am not a fan off. His clothes smell like steel. he handles raw steel bars at his job. He is also a crane operator. But will say, I enjoy having the whole entire bed to myself. Whoot!
Well my Son just made himself some chocolate milk. How sweet of him to make himself some...and he didn't make a mess neither. I bought a huge thing of Hershey Syrup to keep refilling the bottle. I can't believe how long its lasted me....us. Well, I still have some things to get done. Like my Guest packets.
Short day tomorrow for school, then no school for a week. Can you say? Sleeping in!!!!!!

Right after school we are heading out to the Boy Scout camp for a night of fun four our Halloween weekend preview. On Sunday the Halloween parade will be less than a block away. I am excited about that. Because now I live closer to the parade route and its shorter. Bout time. So tonight, camping, fun tomorrow and parade on Sunday.

When I...
Got my new cell phone awhile back, the guy told me that the phone I chose has a MP3 player in it. So he said that I have the option to purchase a micro sd card for my phone. So my sweet boyfriend bought me one last Friday cause it was on sale. I was so excited, it was a 2 Gig card and I have put some music on it already and my Son thinks its really cool. He wants me to add some of his fave songs to it so he can listen to them on the way to school. I know he's getting older which means...trouble. He's gonna be a music person like I was. I was always into the up to date stuff.
Ok, I just had a shock to the system. My Son took a bath without being asked. I am happy he took it upon himself to do that. I usually have to beg him to shower.
Well, I just updated my laptop. I took off all the pictures I had on here after I burned them all. I also removed programs that I no longer needed. I amazed myself and opened up over 30GB's on this badboy. So I am hoping now it will run alot faster, even though I have now over 140gbs available. Whoot!

Shoes.
Everyone that reads my blogs knows that I recently bought a new pair of shoes. I am still looking for another pair. I may be the only female in this world that doesn't own more than one pair of shoes. Why? Because I never had the need....until now. Now I need another pair that I can just slip on. I am extremely picky on my shoes. So while browsing online, I found these shoes on a site called BlowfishShoe.
I really fell in love with these casual shoes called the HoBo Surf. They look so comfy and I really want a pair. I have to wait until next week to purchase them. They remind me of Hobbit shoes. I guess that is where they got the name for them. I also found them at a local retailer here in town. So come next Friday. I will own me a pair of these babies.

We will miss it today.
My Son's Boyfriend has a competition up in Chicago today and of course we will miss it. We went to the last one, we will miss the next one as well. I sure hope they do good today.
Well my Boyfriend is making lunch before he has to take his Son to the school. I wanted to make sure he wasn't hungry on that long road trip up there. So he is making some Sghetti. I am excited. I love his Sphetti.
I also need to call my Mom to see how she's feeling. I know yesterday she wasn't feeling too well.

My Friend..
Just found out she is pregnant. Its been a long time since the birth of her first child. Back in the day, they weren't thinking about Cryo-Cell Innovative Stem Cell Solutions and how it can help them in the future if their child made need something. Especially how using the babys cord blood can be a vital piece or tool to saving someone's life later on. Especially if its within the immediate family. Its always a 100% match for its mother of course. I wish I had known about it back when I had my Son. We never know the outcomes of our lives and for how many transplants that have happened, I read it was around 8000 to treat over 70 different diseases.
Using Cryo-Cell's "Protect Baby, Protect Mom" term and using it wisely can save your life. Its a must have nowadays with the diseases that are coming out of the woodwork.
"Protect Baby, Protect Mom" Special Limited-Time Introductory Offer right before you are due they can send you a kit overnight or next day in time which I think is awesome. I am sending this information onto my friend. So maybe she can think about it and maybe one day end up saving someones life.

Going to be a busy day today.
We are going to the Apple Orchard with the younger kids. It will pretty much be our last year doing this. They are 11 years old. So we all know what happens after that. They tend to get moody and don't want to do anything with the family. I sure hope we can keep them interested.

Regarding my previous post.
Talking about going to school and learning new terms regarding computers, networking and so on. I also worked in the shipping and receiving department at the college I got to see all the new computers coming in and the network frames. I know they never got used cisco systems but the one they had was a awesome piece of machinery. Where the mainframe of the computer system was, it took up an entire room which was used for classes. They had moved it from the basement due to possibility of flooding they moved it up to ground level. But the interesting part is, they have two areas for the mainframes. Due to the amount of buildings and computers used. Every single employee had a computer on their desks. I do miss going to school and learning new things. I say within a years time, I will be back at school. I need it. I need it for me, for my Son. For my future.
